Abstract
This Statutory Measure, made under section 15 of the Agricultural Product Standards Act, 1990, provides rules for the placing on the market of table grapes in South Africa. In particular it sets out quality requirements for grapes offered for sale and specifies quality classes. Imported table grapes may be exempted from quality requirements as set out in this Measure provides that they comply with specified international standards. Other provisions concern labelling, packing and (methods of) inspection. The Measure is completed by two Schedules setting out quality standards.
