Application of Noise Control Regulations in terms of section 25 of the Environment Conservation Act by local authorities within their areas of jurisdiction (G.N. R. 155 of 1992).

This Notice requires a local authority, which intends to implement the Regulations No. R. 154 of 1992 in its area of jurisdiction, to submit an application to the Director-general of Environmental Affairs. The Notice also sets out requirements for implementation, with respect to the presence of a noise control officer. The Notice also grants possibility to a local authority to implement the Regulations in part.
