Noise Control Regulations in terms of section 25 of the Environment Conservation Act (G.N. R. 154 of 1992).

These Regulations set out rules relative to the control of noise as provided for in section 25 of the Environment Conservation Act, 1989. The Regulations, among other things: define powers of local authorities to control noise; define general prohibitions in relation with activities that produce noise; define and prohibit noise nuisance; and concern the use of noise measuring instruments.
