Marketing of Agricultural Products Act: Establishment of Statutory Measure: Registration of producers, processors, importers and exporters of Pecans and Pecan products (No. R. 198 of 2012).

This Measure of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries requires producers, growers, processors, packers, importers and exporters of pecans and/or pecan products to register with SA Pecan Nut Producers Association acting as appointed administrator. The Measure shall apply to pecans and pecan products, both from a domestic source and on imported product. The aim of the Measure is to promote the efficiency of the production and marketing of pecans.
