Marketing of Agricultural Products Act: Establishment of Statutory Measure: Registration of producers, processors, importers and exporters of Pecans and Pecan products (No. R. 610 of 2015).

This Measure of the Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries requires producers, growers, processors, packers, importers and exporters of pecan nuts and/or pecan nut products to register with the South African Pecan Nut Producers Association NPC (SAPPA) acting as appointed administrator. The Measure shall apply to pecan nut and pecan nut products, both from a domestic source and on imported product. The aim of the Measure is to promote the efficiency of the production and marketing of pecan nuts.
