This Notice of the Minister of Environmental Affairs and Tourism publishes, in the Schedule, a list of critically endangered, vulnerable and protected species. This list is required by section 56(1) of the National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act, 2004. The Act defines restricted activities involving listed threatened or protected species.
