National Environmental Management: Biodiversity Act: Amendments to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) Regulations (No. R. 323 of 2014).

These Regulations amend the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) Regulations in relation with, among other things: definitions; duties of the National Management Authority; the authorization of the National Management Authority for the use of an alternative port for the import, export or re-export of live specimens of CITES listed species where the survival of these specimens may be at risk; requirements for import of any specimen of species included in Appendix III; and exemptions (personal effects). They also Make an a minor amendment to Appendix VI.
