Abstract
These Regulations of the Minister of the Minister of Water and Environmental Affairs, made under section 97(1) of the National Environmental Management Biodiversity Act, 2004, prohibits international trade and transit or transshipment of specimens of species listed in the Appendices to these Regulations, other than in accordance with provisions of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES) and these Regulations. The Minister shall be the national management authority for CITES.
