National Environmental Management: Protected Areas Amendment Act 2004 (No. 31 of 2004).

The Act makes various provisions of the principal Act applicable to national parks and protected marine areas and modifies the definition of national park. South African National Parks established by section 5 of the National Parks Act 57 of 1976 shall continue to existas as a juristic person despite the repeal of that Act by section 90 of this Act. The National Parks Land Acquisition Fund established by section 12A of the National Parks Act 57 of 1976 shall continue to exist as a separate fund under the administration of South African National Parks despite repeal of that Act.
