Regulations made under section 8 of the Dumping At Sea Control Act.

These Regulations implement provisions of the Dumping At Sea Control Act, 1980 in respect of an application for a permit for dumping or disposing a substance into the sea. Such application shall be made in the prescribed form to the Director-General of Environmental Affairs. An application for a permit to dump radioactive waste or matter contemplated in Schedule 2 of the Act shall be accompanied by a approval certificate of the Atomic Energy Corporation. The Regulations also specify information that must be submitted to the Director-General if dumping in accordance with section 2(1) has taken place.
