Abstract
These Regulations, made under Section 15 of the Agricultural Product Standards Act, no. 119 of 1990, provide for the control of export of animal products. The Regulations concern: dairy products, eggs, poultry meat, milk; certificate attesting to conformity of a consignment of regulated agricultural products to stipulated requirements; composite dairy product; inspection; modified dairy product, as a a product whose composition has been obtained from a source other than a primary dairy product; primary dairy product; poultry meat; raw processed poultry meat. Matters covered by these Regulations include: requirements and restrictions to export animal products; application for approval for export; presentation for inspection of consignment of animal products intended for export; inspection procedure; assessment of the competence of testing laboratories involved in the export of animal products; fees for inspection and analyses; offences and penalties.
