Abstract

These Regulations prescribe rules relative to registration, manufacture, labelling, packing, advertisement, handling, storage, importation and use of agricultural remedies in the sense of the Fertilizer, Farm Feeds, Agricultural Remedies and Stock Remedies Act, 1947.
They also provide for the sampling and testing of such remedies for plant pests and diseases in order to guarantee their suitability and efficacy. The Regulations also prescribe offences and penalties.
