Abstract
These Regulations, made by the Minister of Health, in terms of section 15(1) of the Foodstuffs, Cosmetics and Disinfectants Act, 1972, specify HACCP system requirements for food handling enterprises, defines rules for the application of HACCP to a specific sector or category of food handling enterprises, concerns verification of the application of HACCP and specifies HACCP requirements applicable for imported foodstuffs. The Schedule to these Regulations, among other things, sets out principles of HACCP.
