Abstract
These Regulations set the minimum standards applicable to maize that is destined for sale in the Republic of South Africa. They place restrictions on the sale of maize produced in or imported into South Africa and placed on the domestic market. The Regulations also define quality classes and grades for maize and quality standards for each class and grade, prescribe rules relative to packing and labelling of maize and make provision for sampling, testing and inspection of maize.
