Abstract
These Regulations define quality classes and prescribe quality standards for each class in respect of onions and shallots to be placed on the market in South Africa and prohibit the sale of onions and shallots that do not meet standards and requirements as set out by these Regulations. The Regulations furthermore provide rules relative to packing and labelling of onions and shallots and public control on quality.
