Abstract
These Regulations prohibit the sale of plums and prunes produced in or imported into South Africa, other than imported plums and prunes meeting specified requirements, that do not meet quality standards as prescribed by these Regulations. The Regulations also define quality classes of plums and prunes and prescribe quality standards for each class, prescribe rules relative to packing and labelling (including traceability) of plums and prunes and make provision for sampling, testing and inspection of plums and prunes.
