Control of Goods (Import and Export) (Forest Produce) Regulations, 2017 (S.I. No. 27 of 2017).

These Regulations made by the President under sections 3 and 6 of the Control of Goods Act, empowers the Minister to make statutory orders prohibiting, restricting or otherwise controlling the import into or the export from the Republic of Zambia of any goods specified in the Schedule or any class of such goods. Such Order may, among other things, prescribe the terms and conditions subject to which controlled goods or any class of such goods may be imported into or exported from the Republic of Zambia and issue permits with or without terms and conditions. Offences are defined and commodities or goods that are the subject of the contravention may be, on Court order, forfeited to the State.
