Abstract
These Regulations provide for the control of production of and trade in any controlled substance or any other substance likely to deplete the ozone layer. "Controlled substance" means a substance set out in column II of the First Schedule to these Regulations. A person shall not produce or conduct any activity likely to produce any controlled substance or any other substance likely to deplete the ozone layer or emit into the open air any controlled substance likely to result in adverse effects on human health and the environment. Import or export of a recovered, recycled, reclaimed or used controlled substance requires a permit issued under these Regulations.
