Abstract
These Regulations empower a registered trader or processor to inspect, prior to purchasing a designated commodity, all relevant records to determine if: (a) the farmer, trader of processor selling the designated commodity has previously pledged the commodity as security; or (b) a charge or lien has been registered under the Agricultural Credits Act and require a trader or a processor, registered as a dealer in a designated commodity, to provide to the Food Reserve Agency information on a monthly basis regarding the stock of a designated commodity handled or held by him during a specified period. This information shall be provided in the forms set out in the Schedule to these Regulations.
