Abstract
These By-laws concern the slaughtering of animals and sale of meat in the area under the jurisdiction of the Katete District Council. They also provide for the control of stray animals.
Butcheries shall be approved by the District Council. A person shall not expose, offer, deposit, accept or have in his or her possession for resale any meat unless such meat has been examined and passed by the Meat Inspector as fit for human consumptionand stamped and marked accordingly.
