Land Survey (Amendment) Act, 2026 (Act No. 22 of 2026).

This Act, comprising 3 sections, amends the oginal text as follows (i) Section 2 by adding new definitions for “House of Chiefs”, “Law Association of Zambia”, “Zambia Institute of Estate Agents”, and “Zambia Institute of Planners”; (ii) Section 6 by replacing the existing provisions on the Survey Control Board to revise its composition and governance structure, including the appointment of a part-time Board by the Minister, the inclusion of additional institutional and stakeholder representatives, the designation of the Surveyor-General as an ex-officio member and Board secretary, and the establishment of procedures for nominations, appointment of the Chairperson, election of the Vice-Chairperson, and quorum requirements.
