Abstract
The Act (59 sections) consolidates and amends the Law in respect of the control, ownership and use of water. The Act governs the regime of water rights for primary, secondary and tertiary purposes (II) and for mining, railway and urban purposes (III). The Act establishes the Water Board for the administration of water rights. It further contains provisions on applications for water rights (IV), easements (V), general powers of the Minister (VI) and miscellaneous provisions (VII).
