Abstract
The text consists of 106 regulations divided into 6 Parts: The Parks and Wildlife Estate (I); Specially protected indigenous plants (II); Hunting, removal, viewing and sale of animals and animal products (III); Honorary officers (IV); Fees, the reservation of facilities and applications for permits, etc. (V); general (VI). The first Part concerns the Wildlife estate of Kenya. It is divided into various chapters dealing with general matters regarding parks, refuge areas, wilderness areas, hunting in parks and other wildlife areas, fishing in waters of the park and Wildlife Estate, pollution of waters, and powers of the Director and officers. Regulation 46 concerns the registration of cultivators who propagate specially protected indigenous plants. Chapters of Part III concern professional hunters, trophy dealers, and use of fishing nets.
