Veterinary Surgeons Act (Veterinary Laboratory Technologist) Regulations, 2002

These regulations provide that the Registrar shall, mutatis mutandis, maintain a register of Veterinary Laboratory Technologists in terms of Part III of the Act. The qualifications specified in the First Schedule shall, subject to the Act, qualify the holder thereof for registration on the register of Veterinary Laboratory Technologists. A registered Veterinary Laboratory Technologist may perform the duties specified in the Second Schedule. A registered Veterinary Laboratory Technologist shall carry out the duties specified in the Second Schedule under the direction and control of a registered veterinary surgeon who has sufficient experience in veterinary diagnostics.
