El presente Decreto reglamenta la Ley de promoción de la disminución del uso de plástico polietileno y encomienda al Ministerio de Industria y Comercio aprobar el Plan de promoción gradual del reemplazo de bolsas de polietileno de un solo uso. En dicho Plan se definirán los porcentajes de reducción gradual.

This Directive supplements Directive 94/62/EC by inserting new provisions that require Member States to take measures to achieve a sustained reduction in the consumption of lightweight plastic carrier bags on their territory. Those measures may include the use of national reduction targets, maintaining or introducing economic instruments as well as marketing restrictions.
