External Trade (Shopping Plastic Bags Prohibition) Order, No. 83 of 2017.

This Order prohibits the importation, distribution, sales and use of shopping plastic bags after the 30th June, 2016. The types of plastic bags exempted from prohibition are listed in the Schedule.
