Decree of 3 July 2019 approving the Hunting Regulation.

This Regulation applies to huntable species, to regulated species and to species subject to a hunting plan defined in the text, and to their management in accordance with the management plans, either through hunting during the hunting season, through the authorized regulation of the regulated species or through the application of the approved hunting plans for the species subject to a hunting plan. The species that can be hunted without other limitations than those established by Hunting Law No. 13/2016 of 28 July, and this Regulation are specified in the text. The species that can be hunted with the catch and transport limitations per day and per hunter are also specified in the text. The catch and transport limitations per day and per hunter are also detailed according to the species.
In application of the current Hunting Law, the regulated species are those that are dangerous for public health or safety, that cause significant damage to agricultural and forestry activities, to habitats, and to fauna and flora in general. The regulated species that cause damage to the activities referred to in section 2 are the following: a) Wild boar (Sus scrofa); b) Mole (Talpa europaea); c) Red deer (Cervus elaphus); d) Mouflon (Ovis musimon); e) Fox (Vulpes vulpes). The management and regulation of these species is regulated in the second chapter. The hunting licenses are the following: the season license, the special hunting license for chamois, the special license for unaccompanied hunting for species subject to a hunting plan and the special license for accompanied hunting for species subject to hunting to a hunting plan.
