Abstract
The purpose of this Law, consisting of 46 articles divided into nine Titles, is to regulate hunting activity in a way that is compatible with the protection, conservation, promotion and exploitation of national fauna, respecting the international commitments taken. The ministry responsible for hunting activity prepares the management plans of the canned species, depending on the management unit of each population. The management plans must be based on the following principles: a) Analysis of the characteristics of the territory. b) Knowledge of the existing fauna. c) Definition of the objectives of the management. d) Means necessary to achieve the objectives. Protected species, such as the Pyrenean chamois and other species are regulated through a management plan. The regulation must include at least the application of the management plans through the hunting plans and must define the hunter obligations to follow in terms of marking, recording and control of the captured species.
