Abstract
This Law, consisting of 37 articles divided into four Titles, establishes the requirements to be satisfied for the atmospheric and noise pollution. It aims at the prevention, surveillance and correction of activities and situations related to atmospheric and noise pollution. Atmospheric pollution is the presence in the air of materials or forms of energy that may involve risk or damage for people and the environment. The measures that are adopted in application of this law and that imply a limitation or a levy, have to be provided to the purpose pursued, trying to adopt in any case the less burdensome measure for the administrator. The Law is divided as follows: Contamination by emission of contaminants (Title I); Noise pollution (Title II); Control of vehicles in terms of atmospheric and acoustic pollution (Title III); Offences and penalties (Title IV).
