Abstract
This Act lays down provisions on the formation and operation of companies; incorporation of companies; corporate capacity and powers; share capital and shareholders of companies; management of companies; corporate records; transfer of shares and debentures; fundamental company changes; civil remedies; protection of creditors and investors; other registered companies, such as external companies and companies without share capital; procedures of winding up of companies; functions of the Registrar; investigation of companies; offences and penalties; and incidental and consequential matters.
