Abstract
The purpose of this Law is to protect, manage and control wild fauna with a view to ensuring the conservation of species, populations and their habitats. The Law consists of nine chapters, as follows: (I) General provisions; (II) Protection; (III) Special protection measures for wild birds; (IV) Conservation measures; (V) Exploitation of wild fauna species; (VI) Capture of wild fauna species; (VII) Wild fauna monitoring; (VIII) Control; (IX) Penalties. The Forestry Police and the Fishing Inspectorate are the responsible bodies for the law enforcement.

The Law came into force 15 days after its publication in the Official Gazette.
