Abstract
This Law aims at ensuring a controlled quality in the production, storage, processing and trade of milk and dairy products. It sets forth rules regarding the licensing of establishments producing and processing milk products, safety standards, labelling, packaging and storage. The Law consists of five Chapters: (I) General Provisions; (II) Licensing requirements; (III) Unprocessed milk; (IV) Milk for consumption; (V) Dairy products; (VI) Packaging and labelling; (VII) Equipment, storage and transport of milk and dairy products; (VIII) Inspection; (IX) Milk Experts Council; (X) Administrative Offences; (XI) Final Provisions. The following annexes are attached: (I) Requirements for the acceptance of raw milk in processing centres; (II) General conditions for the licensing of processing centres.
