Order N. 131, dated 28 March 2018 on approval of the list of products and substances used in biological production.

This Order on approval of the list of products and substances used in biological production, based on the provisions of the Albanian Law No. 106/2016 on organic production, labelling, and inspection of organic products, defines the products and substances used in biological production according to the purpose of use, as follows: 1. Fertilizers and soil conditioners (defined in Annex I, attached to this Order); 2. Pesticides - plant protection products (PPPs), (defined in Annex II); All substances listed in Annex II must meet at least the conditions set out in Ministerial Order no. 72. dated 2/03/2017 "On the approval of cases acting on the content of PPPs", as amended. 3. Products for cleaning and disinfection of ponds, cages, buildings and equipment for animal production (defined in Annex III); 4. Non-biological raw materials for animal feed, of plant, animal and mineral origin and certain substances used in animal nutrition (defined in Annex IV); 5. Animal feed additives and processing aids (defined in Annex V). This text is partially aligned with the provisions provided in the Commission Regulation (EC) No. 889/2008 laying down detailed rules for the implementation of Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products with regard to organic production, labelling and control; and Council Regulation (EC) No. 834/2007 on organic production and labelling of organic products and repealing Regulation (EEC) No. 2092/91.
