Order no. 349, dated 25 July 2022 on the approval of the list of products and substances that can be used in biological production.

This Order here approves the official list of products and substances used in biological production, which is attached to the text. The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Control Bodies and the National Food Authority are in charge, for the implementation of this Order. Only the active substances listed in Annex I must be contained in the plant protection products that are used in biological production. Only the products and substances defined in Annex II can be used in biological production, such as fertilizers, soil improvers and plant nutrients, improvers and animal litter or in algal cultivation, aquaculture or animal breeding environment. Only the products and substances listed in part A of Annex III can be used in biological production as non-biological material for animal feed, of plant, animal, algae origin, yeast or of microbial or mineral origin. Only the products and substances defined in part B of Annex III shall be used in biological production as additives and processing aids for animal feed. The products listed in point 1 of Annex IV can be used for cleaning and disinfection of ponds, cages, tanks, buildings or installations used in biological animal production. The products listed in point 2 of Annex IV will be used for cleaning and disinfection in aquaculture species production and seaweed production.
