Regulation No. 155 on the rights and responsibilities of the Inspectorate of the Seeds and Seedlings State Control.

The State Entity of Seeds and Seedlings shall peform its tasks under the authority of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food and shall be responsible for organizing and controlling the enforcement of Law No. 8732 of 2001 on plant genetic material. Its tasks include the control over the full range of activities dealing with plant genetic material production and trade, the establishment of collaboration and research with foreign counterparts and the keeping of the Registrar and Catalogue of Species and Varieties.
