Abstract
This Regulation lays down the procedures and requirements concerning: (i) registration of plant protection products imported into and used in the Republic of Albania; (ii) registration of plant protection products’ agents and other elements for protecting plants against parasites, while protecting at the same time human health, animal health and the environment. Plant protection products may be imported as long as they are registered in accordance with these provisions. The Regulation consists of the following Chapters: (I) General provisions and definitions; (II) Criteria for plant protection products assessment and general requirements for their registration; (III) Registration of active agents; (IV) Application for registration; (V) Registration documentation and plant protection products packaging; (VI) Registration, modification, annulment and expansion of plant protection products use; (VII) Research; (VIII) Information on dangerous effects; (IX) Data protection and confidentiality; (IX) Special provisions; (X) Transitory provisions; and (XI) Final provisions.
