Regulation No. 372 date 18.5.2016 approving the rules of communication, bilateral consultation, and decision-making of the type-A environmental permission for the functioning of installations placed in the territory of the Republic of Albania that has real potential for considerable negative impact in the environment of a different state, or after it is required by such a state.

This Regulation lays down the rules of communication, bilateral consultation, and decision-making regarding the type-A environmental permission concerning the functioning of installations placed in the territory of the Republic of Albania that has real potential for considerable negative environmental impact in the territory of a different state. The rules concern the content of the application, the requirements for its publication in various media including the notification of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in order for them to follow up with the required trans-boundary consultation, as well as the rules of procedure for public consultation. The National Environmental Agency is the main authority responsible for implementation and coordinating with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs consultation with potential foreign stakeholders.
