Abstract
The Law aims at preventing, reducing and controlling the pollution caused by several activities in order to reach a high level of protection for the environment, human health and life quality. The Law includes the following Chapters: General Provisions, A type Environment Permits, B Type Environment Permits, C type Environment Permits, General Provisions for Environment Permits, and Transitory and Final Provisions. There are also provisions on A, B, and C environmental permits pending on the production capacity, and main polluters to be considered for discharging limits, SO2 discharging limits –solid fuels, SO2 discharging limits – liquid fuel, SO2 discharging limits – gas fuels, NO2 discharging limits.

Regulation No. 96 date 14.2.2018 amending and supplementing Regulation No. 372 date 18.5.2016 approving the rules of communication, bilateral consultation, and decision-making of the type-A environmental permission for the functioning of the installation placed in the territory of the Republic of Albania that has real potential for considerable negative impact in the environment of a different state.
Regulation No. 97 date 14.2.2018 amending and supplementing Regulation No. 419 date 25.6.2014 approving special requirements for the issuance of types A, B, and C environmental permits, the permits transfer, and the detailed rules of procedure for permit application examination and issuance by the National Licensing Center.
Regulation No. 372 date 18.5.2016 approving the rules of communication, bilateral consultation, and decision-making of the type-A environmental permission for the functioning of installations placed in the territory of the Republic of Albania that has real potential for considerable negative impact in the environment of a different state, or after it is required by such a state.
