Abstract
The present Law establishes legal, economic and organizational basis of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological safety of the population and guarantees envisaged by the state excluding impact of injurious and dangerous environmental factors on human organism and ensuring favourable conditions for vital activity of the present and the future generations. The document consists of 7 Secs. that contain 27 Arts. Section 1 (arts. 1-4) lays down general provisions. Section 2 (Arts. 5-8) establishes plenary powers of state management in the sphere of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological safety of the population. Section 3 (Arts. 9-11) establishes rights and duties of enterprises, institutions, organizations and single citizens in the sphere of ensuring sanitary and epidemiological safety of the population. Section IV (Arts. 12-23) establishes general requirements as regards ensuring sanitary and epidemiological safety of the population. Section V (Arts. 24-25) regards state hygienic and anti-epidemiological survey and public hygienic and anti-epidemiological control. Section VI (art. 26) establishes liability for the infringement of sanitary legislation. Section VII (Art. 27) regards international agreements.
