Presidential Decree No. 21/11 approving the Statute of the Hydrographical and Maritime Marking Institute of Angola (IHSMA).

This Presidential Decree approves the Statute of the Hydrographical and Maritime Marking Institute of Angola (IHSMA). The Statute, consisting of 5 Chapters and 2 Tables, establishes composition, duties and responsibilities of the above mentioned Hydrographical and Maritime Marking Institute, which is entitled to: coordinate, orientation, control, licensing and regulate all activities related to hydrography, cartography navigation, oceanography and maritime signalization under the Angolan jurisdiction. This Statute is divided as follows: General provisions (Chap. I); Superintendence and competencies (Chap. II); Organization and functioning (Chap. III); Structure and composition (Chap. IV); Financial management (Chap. V). Tables list composition and responsibilities of this maritime institution.
