Abstract
An Ordinance to implement the guidelines of the EC on premiums for cattle and sheep. The application forms for a premium have to be addressed to the regional Chamber of Commerce. Animals holders have to keep a register of all animals, and all animals for which a premium is requested must be earmarked. There are also special premiums available for animals producing high quality meat. The Agrarmarkt Austria (AMA) must report to the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry as to the number of received applications. The said AMA is responsible for the enforcement of this Ordinance. The Ordinance consists of 25 articles divided into 4 Parts and 1 Annex.
