Abstract
The purpose of the present Act is to ensure an efficient implementation of the common market organization in Austria with a view to consumer protection and animal welfare. The text consists of 35 articles divided into 4 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Provisions on organization of market (2); Common provisions (3); Penalties and final provisions (4).
Furthermore, the present Act introduces some amendments to the following Acts: the AMA-Act 1992 (BGBl. I No. 108/2001). In particular, it rewords, inter alia, article 21a on Use of contributions; as well as article 21d on Amount of contributions; article 39a on the Establishment of companies; the Wine Act 1999 (BGBl. I No. 141). In particular, the Ordinance amends, inter alia, article 35 establishing that every producer has to submit every year by November 15, a harvest and productions declaration either via mail or via electronic wine database; the Forestry Act 1975 (BGBl. I No. 87/2005). In particular, it amends article 109 on Recognition of foreign vocational training; the Ordinance adds also article 109a on Adjustment measures; article 109b on Services rendered by foreign companies; and article 183b on Implementation of EU-directives; the Plant Protection Products Act 1997 (BGBl. I No. 60). In particular, it amends, inter alia, article 34 concerning the Federal Office for Nutrition; ant finally to the Agriculture Act 1992 (BGBl. I No. 375). In particular, it amends article 8 dealing with the tasks of the Commission.
