Agriculture and Related Resources Protection (Declared Animals) Regulations, 1985.

These Regulations set out procedures and requirements for obtaining permits to: introduce into the State from elsewhere animals that are declared animals of category A4 in respect of the whole State; to introduce into a part of the State from another part of the State animals of category A4 in respect of the first-mentioned part of the State; keep, in any part of the State, declared animals of category A6. The Regulations also impose permit conditions and restrictions. Categories of declared animals are specified in the Act.
The Regulations further provide for the need to apply for permission to the Director General to keep a declared animal of category A1 or A3 for scientific or educational purposes.
