Abstract
This Act aims at facilitating and regulating the exploration for geothermal energy in Queensland. The Act consists of 164 sections and is divided into the following chapters: Introduction; State ownership of geothermal energy; Tender process; Geothermal exploration permits; Access; Damage and compensation; Miscellaneous provisions and Amendments of other Acts.
