Abstract
This Regulation implements the Mineral Resources Act 1989. Part 3 is dedicated to prospecting permits, Part 4 to mining claims, Part 5 to exploration permits, Part 6 to mineral development licences, Part 7 to mining leases, Part 8 sets restrictions on grants, Part 9 covers royalties and Part 11 registration. The Regulation contains Schedules prescribing: areas for mining claim land; potential hazard guides; restrictions of grants; royalties payable for minerals; rent payable; fees; and dictionary.
