Abstract
This Regulation implements the Nature Conservation Act 1992; it consists of 182 sections and is divided into twelve Parts. Part 1 contains preliminary provisions and regulates licences and appeals. Part 2 is dedicated to relevant authorities (licences, permits and other authorities). Part 3 covers commercial activity agreements. Part 4 deals with internal and external reviews and appeal provisions. Part 5 is about dealing with seized things and Part 6 about records to be kept. Part 7 applies to a return of operations required, under the Act, to be given to the chief executive for a relevant authority. Part 8 prescribes fees. The remaining Parts contain general and transitional provisions. The Regulation is completed by seven Schedules that specify the contents of the Regulation.
