Abstract
This Regulation implements the Petroleum Act 1923. It consist of 4 Chapters divided into 52 sections: Preliminary (1); Exploring for and producing petroleum (2); Miscellaneous (3); Repeal and transitional provisions (4). Chapter 2 conatins provisions on reporting and proposed work programs and development plans. Chapter 3 provides for fees and rents. The Regulation is completed by four Schedules on requirements for plugging and abandoning wells and bores, fees, requirements for petroleum register and a dictionary with the terms used in the Regulation.
