Abstract
This Regulation, consisting of 68 sections divided into seven Parts and completed by two Schedules, implements the Plantations and Reafforestation Act 1999 by giving effect to the Plantation and Reafforestation Code. The Code, attached to the Regulation, covers all issues related to the management of plantations and reafforestations, including licences, standards for carrying out reafforestation and plantation activities and operations, standards for the protection of biodiversity and of cultural heritage, mapping and surveys, harvesting operations and offences and penalties.
