Abstract
This Regulation, consisting of 68 sections divided into nine Parts, implements the Stock Act 1915. It includes provisions on residue diseases in warranted stock (Part 1A), on the introduction of stock, animal products, animal pathogens and biological preparations from other states and territories of the Commonwealth (Part 2), on interstate stock travelling requirements (Part 3), on inspections under the Act (Part 4), on testing of stock for disease (Part 6), on treating stock and on feed restrictions for disease prevention (Part 8). The regulation is completed by six schedules on: prescribed diseases, crossing-places, animal pathogens, biological preparations, articles or things requiring permit for entry, notifiable diseases, fees and dictionary. The Regulation is completed by eight Schedules on animal diseases.
