Water Plan (Border Rivers and Moonie) 2019.

The purposes of this Plan, consisting of 96 sections divided into 13 Parts and completed by 15 Schedules, are to perform the following activities: (a) define the availability of water to which this plan applies; (b) provide a framework for sustainably managing water to which this plan applies; (c) identify priorities and mechanisms for dealing with the future water requirements in the plan area; (d) provide a framework for managing water allocations; and (e) provide a framework for reversing, where practicable, the degradation of natural ecosystems caused by the taking of, or interference with, water to which this plan applies.
